Mary is reclining, her right hand supporting her head, while her left is stretched out and rests on her hip. She is dressed in a long tunic and a red cloak on the outside and blue on the inside, which completely wraps her legs. The head is veiled; a thoughtful expression on the face with fine and delicate features.
