A gilded, carved wooden religious statue depicting the Virgin and Child, crowned and holding a globe (orb), dating from the late 17th to early 18th centuries. This sculpture is in good overall condition and of fine quality. It was regilded in the 20th century. Please note: the Virgin's crown is missing, the Child is no longer attached to the Virgin's arms, there are chips and losses of wood on the Virgin's shoulder, and some fingers are missing from her right hand, as shown in the photos.
