He worked on marine scenes, harbor views, but also more classical landscapes. He was part of a family of artists: his father, Jean-François Garneray, and his brothers were also painters. On display at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement.
