Important Ottoman ewer in tinned brass from the 19th century.

Decorated with an inverted tulip, placed above the belly and separated by a ring.
Stopper of a beautiful dominique shape with fretel and wide ringed neck.
Old patina, graceful and elegant object, heavy due to the materials used.
Bronze handle in the shape of an S.
The ewers or jugs were and still are today, mainly used for ablutions, washing the face and hands, at the time of religious ceremonies.
