Important painting representing a lively scene in the taste of the 18th century, featuring twelve characters outdoors on an architectural background. This beautiful French School from the end of the 19th century is sold with a beautiful Napoleon III frame, molded and lacquered, decorated at the top with a pretty pediment. The whole is decorated with foliage, bay leaves, torch, quiver of arrows, garlands of roses. It is signed lower left, the signature is to be deciphered. A second painting by the same artist and of identical format with the same frame is for sale on our gallery, (see last photo).
