"Antique Small Japanese Satsuma Vase, Meiji–taishō Period"

Small Satsuma vase in baluster form, with rich figurative decoration and small stylized handles shaped like elephant heads.

Dating: late 19th – early 20th century (Meiji–Taishō eras).

Mark on the reverse: the dark brown rectangle adorned with gold characters is typical of export Satsuma marks.

Condition: very good, original crackled glaze without visible restorations.
