"Post-impressionist Painting Of Collioures By The Painter Adrien Hamon (1875-1963) "
Painting, oil on canvas signed lower right by the painter Adrien Hamon (1875-1963) dating from the 20th century (1939). The scene represents a pointillist seaside located in Collioure and more precisely the rue du Soleil. Very good condition, in its original frame, see photos. Beautiful painting close to Fauvism. Of Breton origin, passionate about the sea, Hamon (1875, Bégard – 1963) mixes his passion for painting with his military life. During his missions, he paints seascapes with a pointillist touch. He finally abandoned his military career prematurely in the early 1920s to embrace that of a painter and settle permanently in Collioure, an inexhaustible source of sunny seascapes. All of his work is devoted to the sea and most of it to Collioure. Dimensions without frame: 56 cm / 46 cm. With frame: 65 cm / 55 cm. Contact me for more information, foreign buyers welcome.
