We are offering for sale this 17th century period chest from an Auvergne property. The base is of course made of wood. This chest was originally covered in very fine green fabric, most of which remains, to top it off with beautiful ironwork and a magnificent lock, which leads us to believe that this chest could date from the end of the 16th century.
