"Abduction"
Very beautiful bronze group with brown patina, high quality carving, representing "The Rape of the Sabine Women" after John of Bologna. The sculptor represents the abduction of the Sabine women at the end of the banquet offered by Romulus to the Sabines, a neighboring people. The work shows the violence of this dramatic moment.
