"Winter In The Austrian Alps By Hans Barma-smetlak (austrian, Born 1903)"
This winter landscape in the Austrian Alps (probably a view of the Wilder Kaiser massif in Tyrol from the west) was painted by Hans Smetlak Barma (born in Vienna in 1903), a painter of the Viennese School, trained by Puchinger, and later by Tichy and Jungwirt. His winter Alpine landscapes were highly valued by collectors.
