Object description :

"Two Pretty Sorbet Cups, Blown Glass, 18th Century, (accidents)"
Pretty pair of small cups with two handles, blown glass, truncated cone body resting on a small round foot, clear pontil.
Described in book by Jacqueline Bellanger as probable sorbet cups from Nivernais.
Dimensions: H 7cm x 8.5L
Unfortunately, each one has suffered over the 2 centuries: 2 chips on one, a crack on handle on other, which explains my price, for such rare objects….
