"Finely Carved Iron Chest, Nuremberg, Early 17th Century."
Splendid and rare table chest in steel finely chiseled on the lid and on all sides with bands of fine vegetal ramages motifs and dense punching that frame in various quarters pairs of clipei with classical profiles of warriors and young women. The lid hides inside a complex lock complete with key and visible mechanism that shows traces of color. Very beautiful borders both on the inside and the perimeter at the base engraved with small stylized leafy swirls. The casket in excellent condition retains its four flattened sphere feet and does not show any remaking, cm 10cm x16cm x 10cm.
