Elegant Transition period marquetry coffee table from the mid-18th century.

Period between Louis XV and Louis XVI. Oval-shaped table in rosewood marquetry topped with a beautiful speckled marble: Purple Brocatelle from the Jura with its gilded bronze rim. It rests on four slightly arched and tapered legs joined by a kidney-shaped shelf or spacer. Base ending in small bronze sabots.
Slight traces of old restoration.

Coffee table or small piece of furniture in good condition for a cozy atmosphere.
