Saint John And The Blessed Virgin Mary In Terracotta 153 Cm Statue At The Foot Of The Cross Of Christ
Pair of important terracotta statues, 153 cm high: Saint John and the Holy Virgin Mary. These pendants were installed at the foot of a cross of Christ (as can be seen from the recess at the back of the bases, see photo). They have their original polychromy, which is very chipped. Good used condition, just a small piece of Saint John's foot is missing (see photo, not serious). 19th century period. Good quality. Dimensions: Saint John: height 152 x width 50 cm x depth 35 cm Mary: Height 153 x Width 50 x depth 40 cm Bases: 40 x 30 cm at the base.
