Pair of drawings depicting two children.
One, executed in graphite, portrays a young boy with a pensive gaze; it is signed and dated F. Cerri 1866.
The other, enhanced with colored pencils, shows a graceful little girl holding a kitten in her arms, also signed Fortunata Cerri, though undated; nevertheless, the stylistic consistency and similarity of features suggest a contemporaneous execution.
Condition report: Both works show signs of age, including scattered foxing on the paper. The frames, lacking glass, are visibly worn: chipped wood, faded patina, and devoid of decorative or heritage value.
