Wood engraving matrix in Cormier, known as a woodcut.
Narrative scene depicting the Annunciation: the Angel Gabriel announcing to Mary the grace of bearing the Son of God, Jesus.
The matrix has been treated with a limewash to enhance the carved details.
On the reverse, a piece of cardboard has been affixed, which once bore information.The object is in excellent condition, with no notable defects.Dimensions:
