Set of 4 double salt cellars in solid silver and vermeil, late 19th century. Bearing the hallmarks of the Master Goldsmith: BOIN-TABURET and the Minerva 1st title 950/1000 Louis XV style, decoration of scrolls and rich foliage forming four flared feet. In very good condition. Total weight 645 gr. *The house was founded by Emile Taburet who joined forces with his son-in-law, Georges Boin, an antique dealer. The house thus took the name 'Boin Taburet' in 1860. They exhibited at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1889. From 1900 the goldsmith HENRY joined the house and replaced Emile Taburet, the name became 'Boin et Henry', hallmark from 1901 to 1931.
