Asian Bone Statuette 1
Statuette representing a Geisha in traditional dress carrying a rabbit in her right hand and raising what appears to be a broom in her left. The terrace is finely engraved with flowers and a bird. At the feet of the figure is a crane and other birds, probably cormorants, as well as trees and rocks, all in relief. The decoration in the background of the woman is engraved with mountains, dwellings and a river. This sculpture is entirely made of bone plates.
