"Crystal Bison, Lalique, 20th Century"
Paperweight in partially frosted molded-pressed white crystal with the effigy of a standing bison, leaning forward. The model was created by René Lalique (1860-1945) on September 4, 1931, it appears in the 1932 catalog and on the 1937 price list, then was continued in 1947 under no. 1666 and was taken up again after 1951 under no. 11-806 (ref. Marcilhac 1196 page 392).
Signed “Lalique France” at the tip under the base, indicating that this is a piece made after the death of René Lalique.
No chips or losses.
