18th Century Pair Of Italian Embossed Copper Sconces
Pair of 1700 embossed copper arms applied on a carved poplar wood core and silvered on the side of the base edge. In place of the tip we find a lacquered wooden candle with a connection for a large E27 bulb powered by an external electric wire. The appliques have traces of mercury silvering. In good condition, they are of Italian origin and date back to 1700.
