Model 1849 Artillery Officer's Sabre, Imperial Germany, Early 20th Century
Acid-etched blade with remnants of blue and chrome, marked 1 Westf. Feld Artill. Regt. No. 7 for the 1st Westphalian, 7th Field Artillery Regiment. Iron guard with black patina marked 7A.1.62, confirming the 7th Artillery Regiment, serial number 1.62. On the other side, the guard is marked A.43.5.48. Guard branch called Blücher, pierced for the passage of a lanyard. Wooden fuse covered with a fine gray shagreen (wear) with original triple filigree entirely present.
Good condition, without scabbard, no play on the blade, wear of use on the blade and the blue.
