A pewter wine bottle with a screw cap called a ferrière. It has a circular base with moldings. On the underside, two hallmarks can be seen: the one of the master pewter potter with the initials of Claude Varin, master in 1708; and the one of the city of Besançon with an eagle with outstretched wings accompanied by two columns and the word “common”.
