Eugène Baudin Rare Inkwell In Flamed Stoneware And Art Nouveau Mount
Artist: Eugène Baudin 1853 - 1918
Inkwell in flamed stoneware and brass mount, signature incised on the reverse, Eugène Baudin, French ceramist born in Vierzon, exhibited at the Universal Exhibition of 1900, period end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century, workshops of Saint Briac or Monaco, brass mount now patinated with decoration of Iris and Narcissus flowers (a similar inkwell but round in shape was recently acquired by the Vierzon museum). Good condition, old patina and small dent at the bottom of the lid, any questions welcome.
