This rare and antique Tampoura from South India dates from the 1900s. This type of instrument is traditionally used for Carnatic music, accompanying the Veena (Saraswati Veena) and singing. It is an exceptional model due to the quality of its workmanship, its decorations and the authenticity of all its parts (pegs, bridge, etc.).
