Wrought iron wafer iron, in the shape of pliers with long branches. Fairly flat round palettes, used for dry dough wafers. Decorated on one palette with a marine monster and on the other with a vase with handles. Symbolism found in the gardens of Versailles. Superb object. Length 77 cm, diameter 13 cm. Good condition, with traces of use. France 17th.
