Antique bronze sculpture with a mythological subject. Representation of the goddess Themis (or Justitia in Roman tradition), allegorical figure of justice. The young woman carries a scale and a sword, symbol of impartiality, judicial authority and the force of the law. Her eyes are covered with a blindfold, sign of objectivity and absence of prejudice. Work from the end of the 18th century. Rests on a white marble base enhanced with brass. 31cm high. Good condition
