Daum Nancy, Small Art Nouveau Vase, Talking Glassware
of a vibrant raspberry color, with finely acid-etched decoration of poppy flowers enameled in gold around their edges, on a frosted background, bearing the words "soucis oubliés" painted in gold.
Neck enhanced with gold.
Mounted on a solid silver heel.
Minerva hallmark and goldsmith's hallmark on the heel.
Signed in gold "Daum Nancy" with the cross of Lorraine under the heel.
c. 1895.
Good condition - small deformation to the silver base, vase remaining stable; wear to the gold enhancement around the edges of the flowers.
