Hoisting the sails 1903. The careful detail of the characters, the sails and the rough sea provides a pleasant setting. In the foreground we can see a chest and a dredge. On the left, islands or glaciers, nothing is less certain. The boats with all sails out each have a different shape. It seems to be paving the way for the only one whose sails are folded.
