Elegant yellow gold snuffbox, finely decorated with a central interlaced guilloché framed by a plain border and a band engraved with graceful floral and foliate scrolls. The sides and base repeat the interlaced pattern, enriched with parallel wave motifs and small geometric details. The fully gilt interior bears French hallmarks: eagle’s head (18-carat gold guarantee, introduced in 1838) and the maker’s mark. A work of high goldsmithing, likely Parisian, reflecting the late neoclassical luxury and refinement of the mid-19th century.
