"Pair Of Restoration Period Candelabras. "
Pair of five-light candelabras in chased and gilt bronze and patinated bronze. They depict Apollo and Aphrodite carrying the light arms, one foot resting on a sphere. Large stepped base decorated with a frieze of palmettes and flanked by a lyre on the front. Beautiful original gilding and patina. Restoration period, circa 1825. (A sixth light arm is missing at the back.)
