Pair Of 19th Century "black Forest" Cornet Vases
Pair of pendant vases. Typical Swiss work from the sculpture workshops of Brienze, also called Black Forest. Carved from the mass, it represents a wolf and a dog in a vegetal and tree stump decoration. An acid-etched crystal cone revealing a vegetal decoration around the entire periphery. 19th century work, the thick crystal includes a few bubbles but no chips or cracks! The cones alone measure 35 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter. The sculptures measure 26 cm in height, 22 cm in width and 16 cm in depth. The total height of the vases is 51 cm.
