Elegant English naval writing desk in solid mahogany, 19th century. Beautiful brass ornamentation: spandrels and reinforcements, lock entry and central motif of the top finely fretted, retractable side handles. The interior reveals two flaps covered with green leather, gilded with small iron and below a storage space for inkwells and pen holders as well as 3 small drawers. The 2-hook lock works.
