Sea Bream, Red Mullet, Herring By Odette Bruriaux (1923-2003)
Oil on canvas depicting a still life of fish entitled "Sea Bream, Red Mullet, Herring" notified on the back by the artist. Odette Bruriaux was a student at the Louvre school and worked with Yves Brayer, a renowned French figurative painter. Her works are varied, even if the still lifes of fish are the most recognized, not without recalling those of Emille Courtin or Picasso. Her style can be figurative, and some of her works have Fauvist or Expressionist touches. Good condition. Signed lower right.
