"Louis XVI Mahogany Lady's Desk"
Small rectangular lady's desk in mahogany and burl mahogany. It opens with three drawers on the front, the larger central drawer is decorated with a writing tablet and a reserve for the inkwell. The drawers are framed with a half-round molding. It rests on a tapered base finished with a bronze shoe. The tray with slats is surrounded by a baguette on three sides, it has retained its old patinated green leather. Slight cracks on one drawer face and one side (see photos) Interiors of the drawers in oak. Original locks. This desk with its small dimensions has retained its old patina and its leathers, a simple cleaning was carried out. Louis XVI work from the end of the 18th century.
