Louis-Richard-François DUPONT (known as Dupont de Montfiquet) - 1734-1765 "Bust portrait of a named man" Pastel on paper stretched on 18th century canvas. Circa 1760, Dimensions with frame: H.67cm x W.56cm The subject is presumed to be, according to a mention on a label, that of Denis-François PAGe de MAISONFORT, married in 1793 to Marie-Adélaïde-Geneviève de VAUCOUX. Son of a councillor in Paris. Beautiful pastel in very good condition with pastel frame mounted with gilt wood keys in good condition.
