"Théodore Haviland Art Deco Limoges Porcelain Tea And Dessert Set, 1925-1930"
Lovely cake service with scalloped edge by Théodore Haviland for Maison Taourel in Algiers Oran circa 1925 - 1930. Ivory paste. Art Deco period, Japanese inspired with 4 different decorations. It is composed of an oval cake dish of 26.5 cm x 23.5 cm and 12 small plates of 16 cm in diameter. It will make your table a unique, refined, beautiful table. The dish and the plates bear, in addition to the printed mark, the hollow mark "TH" of the Théodore Haviland Manufacture, these initials surmounted by a brace are separated by a star. Weight of the set: 2 kg These plates are old and have been used but remain in very good condition but one plate has a tiny chip on the field and another with a shell underneath, the 2 barely visible on the top (see close-up photo).
