Rare set of 4 Indian inks. Paper works are rare. Paul Kiærskou was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1917. He had Einar Utzon-Frank as a teacher and was an assistant in Joakim's studio. With scholarships from the academy, he was able to go to Italy (1922), London (1923) and Berlin (1927). After a first exhibition in 1920, he subsequently exhibited at, among others, Charlottenborg and Den Frie Udstilling, inspired by the initiative of the French "Salon des Refusés". Together with his friends Elof Risebye and CO Gjerlov-Knudsen, he ran a private art school from 1923 to 1925. Paul Kiærskou was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1917.
