Very interesting handwritten missal, entitled "Memories of Lourdes and the pilgrimages of August 28 - September 2, 1892 and September 17-23, 1894" and dated 1894. "Monogram to decipher. The collection is 128 pages long with its index of hymns. An introduction: "November 1894 We had the pleasure of taking part in the pilgrimages to Our Lady of Lourdes in the years 1892 and 1894, and this collection includes the main hymns that were sung there: it is intended to recall memories that are dear to us in more ways than one. We will find songs from Berry, Vannes, Nîmes and Avignon (1)": the table indicates from which manual each hymn is taken. The appendix contains a new hymn whose author pays homage to Our Lady of Lourdes (1) The verses of several hymns have sometimes been omitted: you would need to know the language to sing them." The monogram of this dedication seems to be MA This, like all the rest of the work, namely the pink frames of the pages, the lines of scores and their notations, is entirely handwritten. No stains, no shaky lines or lines thicker than the others. Leather binding. Very beautiful object of devotion.
