Very beautiful portrait of a female character, in a Venetian type costume. Oil on wood panel. This painting is attributed to Claire Maliquet because although unsigned, an annotation on the back in pencil indicates the artist and especially this one looks very much like a character from one of his paintings at the Toulon Opera entitled "Scene of Tales of Hoffman". Moreover, the artist often used wooden panels as a support. A slight lack on the hat. Quick and neat delivery.
