"Silver Apostle Spoon Known As "rat's Tail" From The Late 19th Century"
This "apostle spoon" has a handle on all sides with, at the top, a trefoil decorated with a crown and two angels framing a shield; Follows a character in Renaissance style clothing and beyond, a plant decoration with a row of pearls and finally a head wearing a large diadem. German or Dutch work at the end of the 19th century. Foreign hallmark not recognized and French control (ET) active from 10/24/1864 to 5/30/1893 for works imported from countries not contracting the established rules. Size: 18 x 4.6 x 1.5 cm Weight: 59 grs. Perfect condition.
