"1900 Vase By Sèvres, Imitation Agate Stone, Buttercup Decor, Daum Galle Era"
Pretty vase decorated with buttercups on a glass base, imitation agate stone, by the Sèvres factory. Well known to amateurs, these rare vases were particularly fashionable in the 1900s when only this Sevres factory succeeded in imitating marble, hard stone or agate stone with these multicolored marbling, impressively realistic. Only Emile Galle also succeeded in this beautiful glasswork on some pieces. Note that this vase is particularly well made with a shiny finish. The whole is enhanced by a gold plant decoration of buttercups. Perfect condition, no lack of gilding, 20 cm high. Piece signed in gold under the base "SEVRES". Very pretty 1900 collector's vase. Particularly well brought out.
