Large Schneider Vase, Signed "charder Le Verre Français," With An "ancolies" Design, Daum-galle, Circa 1920
Artist: Schneider, Signé "charder" Et "le Verre Français"
A lovely Art Deco vase with engraved decoration, the “ancolies” model by Charles Schneider.
A beautiful piece typical of the Art Deco period, featuring these stylized columbines entirely etched with acid. Note the rich variety of colors: a purple base for the floral design with touches of blue and red. The interior of the vase is speckled with gold and opaline-colored clouding.
A tall, elegant shape on a pedestal with a small ball at the base and an ovoid body with a short neck.
In perfect condition, 39 cm tall, signed "charder" on the side and "Le verre français" on the base with a stylus; a clearly identified model, circa 1925.
