Object description :

"Pair Of 19th Century Bronze And Porcelain Candelabras"
This exceptional pair of 19th-century candelabra embodies a sublime fusion of gilt bronze and polychrome porcelain. Each piece features an elegantly crafted bronze mount with three candlesticks, delicately resting on an ornate Rococo-style base. At the center of each candelabra is a superbly detailed porcelain figurine. One figurine depicts a charming lady, gracefully dressed in her traditional costume and engrossed in playing her hurdy-gurdy. The other figurine depicts a gallant gentleman, also rendered with great finesse, playing the bagpipes. These vivid and detailed figures were probably made by the renowned firm of Samson et Cie in Paris.
