This refined vintage candlestick is crafted from carved wood, gilded with gold leaf, and hand-decorated, and likely dates back to the 18th century.
The structure is embellished with the figure of a winged cherub, sculpted with great attention to detail, in an elegant and dynamic pose.
The cherub supports the upper part of the candlestick, which features leaf motifs and a three-legged base richly decorated with floral elements.
The gold leaf gilding, although showing natural signs of age, still retains much of its original luster, lending the piece an authentic charm and a precious patina.
The base rests on a red velvet stand, adding further elegance to the piece.
Condition: Good overall condition, missing a small curl on the lower right (visible in the photo).
The candlestick has been electrified and is therefore fully functional; it can be completed with a lampshade.
Ideal as a decorative element in classic settings or as a precious collector's item.
