Very beautiful bronze sculpture representing a face by the Italian artist Giannetto Salotti (1918-2013) resting on a marble base. From the 50s/60s, bronze with a golden patina. Engraved Salotti on the back of the bronze.
Dimensions: H20.5 x D6, total height with base 25 cm.
Giannetto Salotti, born in Lucca, Italy in 1918, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where he graduated in 1941. His works are now exhibited in many museums in Italy such as the Museo della Poesia in Piacenza, the Soave in Codogno, the Museo Del Risorgimento in Genoa and the Museo di Catania. During his lifetime, he exhibited throughout the world, from Brazil to Japan.
