The Virgin wears a dress with a round neckline belted in front, falling in long folds and a veil forming a drape.

This sculpture, despite the darkness of the wood, emanates a great softness with the gesture of the Child Jesus who puts his right hand towards Mary's ear, and Mary who delicately places her hand on the Child's knee.
