Miniature Brussels Porcelain Cup With Floral Decoration, 19th Century

White glazed porcelain, hand-decorated with a rich polychrome floral motif representing blue forget-me-nots framed by green foliage, arranged in a continuous frieze. The whole is enhanced with a fine gold decoration, applied by hand, consisting of gilded plant scrolls, typical of luxury productions of the second half of the 19th century. The rim of the cup, the handle as well as the interior of the cup are entirely covered with brilliant gilding. The saucer has the same floral and gilded crown decoration, with a rim and a rim also gilded with fine gold.
