Elegant pair of electrified wall lights in solid oak, with a refined design typical of the 1950s.
Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) and Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) are a duo of French designers, respectively graduates of the Boule school and the School of Applied Arts in Reims. After meeting in a stalag in East Prussia where they had been taken prisoner during the war, they met in Lille and founded, with the support of Emile Darioseq, owner of a cabinetmaking workshop, the company Votre Maison in 1949. They chose robust materials and simple lines which immediately made them successful. The company remained active until the 2000s.
