They are very detailed and reflect the profusion and diversity of products common at that time.
They are all signed and bear the coat of arms of the Earl of Orford.
Good condition, not examined out of frame.
* "Herb Market": See the pickpocket... Good condition, slight wear to the frame.
* "Fish market" some foxing.
* "Fruit market" see the little monkey knocking over the baskets some foxing and stains.
* "Game market" some foxing.
All these engravings bear the following inscriptions: 'John Boydell excudit 1779 - In the Gallery at Houghton Published Nov 13th 1779 by John Boydell Engraver in Cheapside London' & 'Snyders & Long John Pinxerut -Joseph Farrington Delit'
