Jacquot pitcher from the east: Islettes, St Clément, Lunéville? Period late 18th century - early 19th century. Depicts a soldier in revolutionary dress with a "bicorne" wearing a cockade. He classically holds a bottle and a glass. The barrel is decorated with a text "Danson la carmagnole", with a spelling mistake. The colors are characteristic of eastern France. The manufacturer remains to be defined. In perfect condition. No cracks, no repairs. Note multiple small discreet enamel chips (see multiple photos).
